Separated Not

This week, I felt like I have been a little detached from God. I felt like He is far away. I fell sick. I didn't concentrate in class. I didn't feel like I'm doing enough in my studies. I called in sick to work two days in a row. I felt like I'm letting God down because I'm not doing my best. I said some wrong things. Cursed a little. Felt pathetic for myself. Cried out to God a lot but didn't think He would answer because I didn't think I prayed faithfully.

But He did. And He is faithful always although I am not always.

He listens and He answers. Sometimes in ways I have not expected Him to.

Like this time. It came when my lcg shared this with me:

Romans 8:35-39

35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36As it is written:
"For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."
37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Praise God. He is great indeed ;)
